This is just ever on the brain: Sarah’s series of inspiring essays by moms who have chosen the sometimes hard, often challenging, but always rewarding path to staying home to raise their children.
Brings back memories of sweet sacrifices made in my home- this photo is me with my one ‘easy baby’ if that term even makes sense! Before I had children, I read Larry Burkett’s Women Leaving the Workplace and it had a profound impact on our lives. After the birth of our first child, I left an exciting career in the apparel industry to be a stay-at-home-mom. Walking out of the workplace and into this life at home raising children was a tremendous about-face!
I just love reading these thoughts from other mothers and think you will, too.
