Things I Love Thursday…Deals!
Hi, my name is Heather. I am a coupon addict. In fact, I’m a shopaholic! Ironically, this love affair with shopping did not actually begin until I gave up my head-of-household income to be a stay-at-home mom.
Today alone, I saved $39 at the grocery store, spending just $33 on fresh produce, fresh pasta, chicken, snacks, and enough sodas for a school party. Next, I headed next door to the Dollar Tree for Nature’s Own bread at $1 a loaf (it expires in a couple of days, but between daily sandwiches, the fridge, and the freezer, we won’t waste a bit.) Last, I kept pushing my cart on down to the Dollar General where my eye had spied a 75% off sidewalk sale on summer items- plus there was more inside! Waterguns, beach balls, goggles, and more for next summer’s birthday boy! By now, I’m heading home on a shopping high. And people wonder how we make it on one income.
